The story of Concrete Bookkeeping begins in March 2018. A 21-year-old immigrant Daniel Alejandro Ortega arrives in Miami from Cuba. Like any other young adult fresh in the country, he had no idea of what to do with his educational and professional career. His first job was as a security officer in a building located in Downtown Miami. There, he met a friend who gave him a book that might have changed his life, or at least had a big impact on it. This book was Rich Dad Poor Dad. After devouring this great book, Dany was hooked. Full of questions but with a hunger for knowledge that he had never experienced before. He started studying Economics at Miami Dade College and graduated with honors in 2020. After that, he started his Bachelor in Finance at Florida International University, but he stopped attending after two semesters. At that point and after years of researching and experimenting with Accounting and Real Estate, he already knew what he wanted to do; he wanted to be a Bookkeeper. There was a phrase that inspired him from the book The E-Myth Bookkeeper, it says, "we empower business owners around their Finances". -"That is what I want to do", he said, "I want to dedicate my life to empowering business owners around their finances." To this date, Dany is committed to that mission and the best vehicle he found to do so was Concrete Bookkeeping & Consulting. He and his team struggle every day to create the financial systems and generate the analytics that will help Contractors and Subcontractors strive and succeed in the business game. Concrete exists for and because of YOU. Your struggles are our struggles, and together we will figure them out and continue moving forward to find new struggles. That is, in our humble opinion, what business and life are all about.
